How many packs of extensions?
- 1 pack: for added volume (nape of the neck) or a highlighted effect
- 2 to 3 packs: to add both length and volume, depending on your hair type
How do I apply them?
Wash and dry hair before application (do not use products containing oil or silicone).
Tapes extensions are applied in rows, starting from the bottom of the head.
Make a straight parting to define an application line, and secure your hair at the top of your head with a large clip.
FULL-STRIP APPLICATION
Place the adhesive strip (sticky side up) under this veil of hair, about ½ cm from the root, then pull it down over the adhesive. Place a second adhesive strip (sticky side down), sandwiching the veil of hair. Press firmly across the entire width of the strip, using a pair of crush pliers or your fingers to ensure good adhesion. Continue laying in a line.
HALF-BAND APPLICATION (recommended for meché effect)
Using a tail comb, lift a veil of hair the width of a half-strip.
Place the adhesive strip (sticky side up) under this veil of hair, about ½ cm from the root. Fold the tape at the notch and fold the second half over the sandwiched veil of hair. Press firmly across the entire width of the band, using a pair of crush pliers or your fingers to ensure a secure hold.
REMOVING TAPES EXTENSIONS
Apply a few drops of nail polish remover to the tape and gently pull out the strand.
